The Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) is offering an opportunity for two interns to work on a project researching insect diversity in tropical and temperate climates and its determinants. Funded by the European Research Council, this research project collects data on trophic interactions from six continents.

The internship is based at SCBI in Fort Royal, VA. Interns will gain experience in forest ecological interactions, and develop specific skills in data collection, analysis, and application. Moreover, they will participate in a dynamic project in this era of global change.
