National Park Service Mellon Humanities Postdoctoral Fellowship

The National Park Service (NPS) and the National Park Foundation (NPF) are now accepting applications for a two-year National Park Service Mellon Humanities Postdoctoral Fellowship. Those who are fewer than three years beyond acquiring their doctorate may apply for one of these fellowships. These fellowships are made possible through a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

The three different fellowships available are:

Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Legacy of the Civil Rights Movement 

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Gender and Sexuality Equality

Postdoctoral Fellowship in the History of Labor and Productivity

The criteria for applicants are that they must be U.S citizens and they must hold a Ph.D in the humanities or humanistic social sciences by August 2018.

Applications are due by Wednesday 1/17/18.
