Students and staff at the Arts in the Real World Career/Internship Fair

On Tuesday 2/6/18, over 250 students and alumni from the College of Visual and Performing Arts at George Mason University attended the Arts in the Real World Internship and Career Fair.

Members of the Smithsonian’s Academic Appointment Diversity and Publicity Taskforce (AADAPT) attended the event to promote careers and internships/fellowships at the Smithsonian. The event was staffed by Anjali Lalani of the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), Karen Carter of the Office of Fellowships and Internships (OFI) and Lisa Collins and Janet Mogollon of the Office of Human Resources (OHR). Staff had the opportunity to speak to visual and performing arts majors, game design majors, and arts management majors.

The staff enjoyed speaking to all of the students and wish them good luck with finding a job/internship!
