At the center of research across the Smithsonian are the network of 21 Smithsonian Institution Libraries (SIL). At SIL, experts can challenge and expand their knowledge with authentic answers. Each library is among the world’s greatest repositories of knowledge for the specialized fields they support.

SIL is currently accepting applications for 2018 Summer General Internship Opportunities. Multiple projects are available for successful applicants to join. Applications are due Friday 3/23/2018.

SIL is also accepting applicants for the 2018 Neville-Pribram Mid-Career Educators Award. The Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology is the host library for the selected applicant.
