Have you ever considered a career in museums? Have you wanted to work for the Smithsonian but weren’t sure there was a job in your field? The Smithsonian’s Office of Fellowships and Internships (OFI) is excited to announce a new internship designed to assist recent graduates explore career opportunities.

In partnership with the Smithsonian Latino Center (SLC), OFI will offer five internships as part of the Smithsonian Latino Initiative Internship to Fellowship (I2F) Program!

This is a two-tiered experienced designed to introduce recent college graduates to a diversity of career opportunities. Selected candidates will embark on a 15-week internship during which they will work closely with a mentor and learn about the breadth of career options at the Smithsonian and in the museum field. Those who successfully complete their internship will be invited to continue the adventure in the spring with a 15-week fellowship.

The Smithsonian Latino Initiative I2F Program is currently accepting applications for Fall 2018. The application deadline is Friday 6/23/19 11:59 EDT.
