Check-in for the SIL Intern Open House

The Smithsonian Libraries (SIL) recently hosted an Intern Open House at their Main Branch in the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) on Monday 6/04/2018. Interns first attended an orientation to familiarize themselves with the Smithsonian and to get to know each other a little more. Afterwards, they focused on SIL and its plentiful resources, such as books, journals, databases, and collections. SIL Librarians taught interns tips regarding how to properly research and use these SIL tools available to them.

Interns in attendance were so excited about their internships and the opportunity to learn about SIL. Watch the two short video interview clips below to hear from Smithsonian interns Joshua Morris and Abby Espiritu about their summer internships!
