NMNH Intern Catherine Gilbert

The National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) hosts the Natural History Research Experiences (NHRE) internship program. The 10 week annual summer program offers fewer than 20 spots to undergraduates from around the country.

Catherine Gilbert, a biology major at St. Olaf College, was picked to take part in NHRE’s 2018 summer internship program in botany where she will work on a project focusing on “showing how different species and subspecies are related and evolved.”

An article was recently put out by St. Olaf College about Catherine’s placement in the NHRE program.
