Chess Charles from Beckton, England has recently completed her Smithsonian Internship. During her time at the Smithsonian Chess was able to experience and interact with many of the different museums comprising the institution. In her internship Chess learned about collection management and the museum industry as a whole. Reflecting on this experience, Chess plans on pursuing a career in museum education noting both her personal enjoyment of the subject and open-mindedness of the field.
